Our Founder Karen rescued the lovely Rosie back in March. Here is a post about the trip! I think we can safely say she is much happier in her wonderful new home, with her brother from another mother, Hamish!
Hamish and I drove to Birmingham to pick up our new furry friend Rosie.
Rosie has found her forever home and joined our little family.
Hamish had been missing our beloved Buzz and feeling a little, lonely but he has been charmed by our beautiful leggy girl!
Rosie was rescued from the pound by a fabulous charity called Birmingham Greyhound Protection, and put into a foster home to be given some much needed tender care, nurturing and love.
Birmingham Greyhound Protection was set up in 2012, and is run by an amazing lady called Kerry. Kerry and her volunteers have re-homed 100’s of greyhounds. They tirelessly raise awareness and campaign to end the greyhound racing industry.
I can’t believe that Rosie has only been with us for 2 days, she’s certainly made herself at home! She loves meeting new friends, people and furries alike! She greets everyone with a very waggy tail. We are so lucky to have found her…. everyone’s going to love Rosie!
Here is the sorry state she was in when the rescue took her:
